Im thinken about a new set of tires for my cms wheels and possiably holing them and either repolish or a finish like my centerlines&monococks have(mono's were anodized, but they did not match each other  so they got the super trick/centerline treetment and now match.although Ill never finish that car, 14x15 with 3.5 back spacing sure looks nice that way, polished they tend to burn your hands or leggs when you walk by in the sun.)ĭale M. no poop on easter, just spoted eggs.but be ware of the dog poop. as are my 3 sets of new weld wheels 15x3.5,14x15,15x15.I just dont get how these CMS being made for a vw automatically makes them crap.but I reckon it does. arnt the best looking but there hard, strong, bolted, light, round, true.and effing expensive. my 14x15 monoquecs  nope I cant spell monococks correctly. mine are very soft too.not like any other wheel of this type Ive ever had. No poop execpt for my wheels, his are the bolted ones I hope there a lot better than the welded ones. You couldn't just answer his question, you had to poop in his Easter basket didn't you. with the cms wheels ,one of the first 2 new wheels I got was so bent I had to get another new wheel. they are the worst wheels Ive ever seen.not round, not straight, not even, bolt pattern not centered.crapy aluminum that corrodes like mag in a salt bath :shock. They are very nice wheels I've had a few sets, never needed to re-tighten.Madmike Mod: I just realized this should be in the Custom Wheel Tire forum. ![]() What is the torque recommendation for these 15 small bolts? I believe CMS was sold when the owner retired, so Walt is no longer reachable. This wheel has the small bolts all around the hub perimeter to hold the two halves together (and a bead of silicone sealant to maintain tire pressure). I have some CMS two-piece "bolt together" wheels that are their street weight aluminum 0.190" thick. ![]() View original topic: CMS Two-Piece Wheels Thank you for visiting our website, and please don’t hesitate to call or email us with any further :: View topic - CMS Two-Piece Wheels Forumsįorum Index -> Performance/Engines/Transmissions -> CMS Two-Piece Wheels Rest assured, we offer products that meet your high expectations along with our unwavering commitment to excellent customer service.
